Together with Notley High School & Braintree Form, FC Evolution provides Sixth Form students the platform to learn skills and gain knowledge to start their future careers.

Our programme offers a range of A-Level courses as well as BTEC and does not limit students when it comes to their academic options.

Our Scholarship Programme is designed to combine football and education, and ensure students are getting the best experience possible.

A huge focus on our programme is succession planning and mentoring our students throughout their journey and next steps, even after the programme has finished.

Next steps is the key area that we mentor our students on and how they can take what they’ve learnt and gained to turn it into a career.

Our 2-3 year course creates some of the best memories that you will remember forever.

Succession pathways

01. Progress into our senior teams

Players demonstrating strong ability, commitment, and growth have the opportunity to progress into our senior squads. This provides a valuable step into competitive adult football, offering regular fixtures, increased exposure, and the chance to further develop technical and tactical understanding in a high-performance environment.

02. Progress into non-league football

We actively support and encourage players to transition into non-league football, where they can gain valuable experience in semi-professional settings. With established links to local and regional clubs, we help players find suitable opportunities to showcase their skills and take the next step in their football journey.

03. Gain coaching qualifications

We provide pathways for players to begin their coaching journey alongside their playing career. From FA Level 1 and 2 courses to hands-on coaching experience within our programmes, players can build a strong foundation to pursue coaching roles in grassroots, academy, or senior football settings.

04. Apply to University to continue studies and full-time football

For those looking to balance education and football, we support applications to universities offering full-time football programmes. This route allows players to continue academic development while training and competing at a high level, often within BUCS leagues or scholarship-supported schemes.

Beyond playing, we offer insights into the wider sports industry through roles in performance analysis, sports marketing, and media. Players can explore these areas through workshops, internships, and shadowing opportunities, helping them discover alternative career pathways within the world of sport.
